The Kashmir Files box office collections: Film becomes first Bollywood Hindi release to cross ₹250 crore post-pandemic
Anupam Kher starrer and Vivek Agnihotri directed film The Kashmir Files has managed to earn ₹250 crore domestically in a month of its release.
The movie has managed to cross the Rs 250 crore mark at the domestic box office, thereby becoming the first film to do so since the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Kashmir Files directed by Vivek Agnihotri, just took over a one month to reach this stage. The film is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir Valley in the early 1990s and was made on a budget of just ₹15 crore. The Kashmir Files stars Anupam Kher, Mithun Charaborty, Pallavi Joshi and Darshan Kumaar in pivotal roles.
The film is based on the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits during the Kashmir Insurgency in 1990.The film has been declared tax-free in states like Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Haryana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka.

The film had started off on a weak note, but strong word of mouth publicity along with endorsement by popular leaders turned it into a massive hit at the box office.
